In the run up to Valentine’s Day, there is a lot of talk (and commercials) focused on love. Usually it’s of the romantic kind, which is great. But at the LIFE Foundation, we also like to use this holiday to celebrate all types of love. That’s why we created the Insure Your Love Photo Mosaic. People can upload photos of anyone they love! Here are some great photos people have shared (including one from me!).

The photo mosaic is also a reminder that, while we do a lot throughout the year to show our families and loved ones how much we appreciate and love them, there is one important way that we should not forget about … and that is protecting them with life insurance.

Would any of your loved ones suffer financially if you were to die prematurely? If so, now is the right time to think about either getting life insurance or increasing the amount you have.

Taking that step doesn’t have to be hard. You can start by learning a bit more about life insurance, and then talking to an agent or advisor in your community about getting the right amount of coverage. You can find one here.

And be sure that you join the mosaic by adding a photo of your own. It only takes a couple minutes and by doing so, you can help spread the word about the importance of protecting the ones you love with life insurance. For each photo that gets uploaded to the mosaic, LIFE will donate $1 to the LIFE Lessons Scholarship Fund, which gives tuition assistance to college-age students who have lost a parent.
